Thank You Lord

For making the sun to shine, putting the stars in the sky
For flowers that bloom the ocean so blue, Thank You Lord
For every sparrow that sings, and that makes sweet melody
For the rivers that flow, the rain and the snow, Thank You Lord

CHORUS:
I just want to thank you Lord. just want to thank you Lord
For every thing you've done for me, Thank you Lord
I just want to thank you Lord, just want to thank you Lord
for making me whole saving my soul thank you Lord

For my home family for lifes joys you've given me
for shoes on my feet, pleanty to eat, Thank you Lord
for this church to worship and pray, for the freedom iIhave today,
sweet spirit I feel, your presence  so real thak you Lord

For being a friend so dear giving my sad heart cheer

The Shepherd's Point of View

You are standing on the mountain

Holding to the Shepherd's hand,

The valley you just came through
Was hard to understand.
Then the Shepherd draws you closer,
There's something He wants you to see,
And He points back to the valley
And unfolds its mysteries.

As the eagles soar around you

And you look back on where you've been,
One by one He answers questions
That He did not answer then.
He now shows you the danger
Of going your own way
All those roads you thought were better
Would have led your soul astray.

He reminds you of that moment

When you could not make it through.
Now you see one set of footprints
Where He reached down and carried you.
As your tears fall on His shoulder,
And you thank Him for His love,
He says, "Child, I knew that one day,
You'd see this valley from above."

Things look different on the mountain

From the Shepherd's point of view
Standing high above the trial
That He brought you safely through.
All the valley's disappointments
Will never look the same to you
For things look different on the mountain

From the Shepherd's point of view.

Till The Storm Passes By

Out on the water, the storm raging high,
the waters around them,  troubled their mind,
With fear in their heart,  they thought they might die,
they failed to remember, the master was nigh.

He spoke the word;  the winds all stood still,
even the waters, obeyed his will.
He'll calmed their storms, just like he will mine,
If i'll just remember, he lives deep inside.

(chorus)
Why should i worry, why should I fear,
When this very same Jesus, he is always so near.
He lives in my heart, he hears when I cry;
I'll call on the master till the storm passes by.

I read in the bible, how he walked with them,
brought light to the darkness, when the way grew dim,
How Great it would be, to have his step leading mine,
to walk with the master, all of the time.

But then trouble came, death was so nigh,
they searched for the master, hoping he'd get there on time.
So when I'm in trouble, my bodies in pain,
All i have to do, is call on his name.

He Saw It All

I was working in town one afternoon
Attending some business affairs
I heard a commotion a couple streets over
And wondered whats happening there
A young man was running from in that direction
and stopped just to catch his breath

I asked him to please tell me what was the hurry
He smiled up at me and he said
I was trying to catch the crippled man,
Did he run past this way
He was rushing home to tell everyone
What Jesus did today
And the mute man was telling myself
And the deaf girl He's leaving to
Answer God's call

It's hard to believe but if you don't trust me
Ask the blind man, he saw it all
Ask the blind man, he saw it all

My friend if the troubles and burdens you carry
Are heavy and dragging you down
And you've tried everything
You can possibly think of
But there's no relief to be found

That very same Jesus that altered the future
Of the blind man, the deaf and the lame
He's still reaching out
In your hour of trouble
One touch and you're never be the same

You'll be trying to catch the crippled man
Did he run past this way
He was rushing home to tell everyone
What Jesus did today
And the mute man was telling myself
And the deaf girl He's leaving to
Answer God's call
It's hard to believe but if you don't trust me
Ask the blind man he saw it all
Ask the blind man he saw it all

Ask the blind man he saw it all

Press On

Remember Paul and Silas,
Bound in stocks and chains
Yet they sang a song of joy
In the midst of their pain
There was Daniel in the lion's den
The Hebrews in the fire
They all stood strong and suffered long
They trusted in God's power

It's in the midnight hour
When you're hanging by a thread
And you've cried all your tears
In all the prayers you've said
That's when Jesus comes a runnin'
And he takes you by the hand
Just hold on you can make it
Press on; morning's coming,
Press on.

Now if your hearts been broken
Like a shattered piece of glass
And you wonder if the pain you feel
Is ever gonna pass
And when the darkness surrounds you
It might seem to have no end
Just keep holding on; it won't be long
And you'll see the sun again.

It's in the midnight hour
When you're hanging by a thread
And you've cried all your tears
In all the prayers you've said
That's when Jesus comes a runnin'
And he takes you by the hand
Just hold on you can make it
Press on; morning's coming,
Press on.
